  1. I am looking for some creative art therapy folks in Iowa to participate in a 1/2 day program. We are sponsoring a reading discussion series called Healing & Humor and I would like the 1/2 program to serve as the culminating event. I would like to expose participants to various ways of coping with an illness. Please let me know if you would be interested. Thanks.

  2. Contact the Iowa art therapy chapter of the AATA. The information can be found here:

Always happy to hear that art therapy is being included and promoted.

  3. Hi-
We are in the process of collecting the stories of breast cancer survivors who are artists or work in the creative industries for a beautiful coffeetable book. I would love for your network of artists to get information about the general call for submissions. Do you have an email address or contact information that I could send the press release to?

    thanks in advance!

  4. Hello! My name is Aloe and I am Graphic Designer. I’ve been working this profession for the last 3 years, looking also for something else and I end up in studying Art Therapy. I just started my research for Universities and is not as easy as I was imagining. I would be very grateful if you could give some links for Universities, preferable in Europe and in Universities that need English(UK is from last choices) Thank you in advance!

I’m interested in obtaining a specific print from this on this website. It is entitled ‘Depression House.’ Any ideas on how to do this?

I am interested in learning more about how to evaluate art therapy programs for children, particularly younger children, in crisis situations such as Katrina or Haiti. What sort of tests can be used by staff who are often not fully trained art therapists to judge if the programs are effective ?

  7. Recently I watched a film called “My Name is Alan and I Paint Pictures” Its about a British artist living in New York City that suffers from schizophrenia. He uses his paintings to not only support himself but also as therapy for his illness. http://mynameisalan.com/

  8. You may be interested in this project. I’m directing a film called Art Saved My Life. It’s an inspirational documentary about the power of art! http://bit.ly/UbpPdJ
